While it is the object much detestation and whining, i personally love the Paris Metro system. It’s vast, exhaustively covers our capital, and in a much more logical and sensible way than say the London underground, it is affordable, incredibly so for what it offers. Yes it stinks, yes it’s old (but constantly being modernized), and yes it is CROWDED … but it has a special place in my heart.
